WeFoundIt, Lost & Found Platform for Cameroon

WeFoundIt is a community platform I founded for Cameroon. I designed the full system architecture and built the backend API (FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Redis, Celery), the React web app, and the Flutter mobile app. It launched first as a production web application and was later extended to native apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play. The platform uses a smart matching algorithm (category, colour, brand, serial number, location radius) to automatically connect finders with owners, and integrates Nkwa Pay for MTN MoMo and Orange Money payments. Deployed on AWS EC2 behind Caddy (auto-HTTPS), with S3 for media storage and automated daily backups. To date it has 1,480 users, 1,960 items processed, and 1,284,000 FCFA in revenue.
